Sire Riccione
He was one of the most wanted candidates at the 1998 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing making a big impression with his highly noble appearance and extravagant movements. He won riding horse tests and champions’ finals with scores of 9.0 and higher. In his Stallion Performance Test he confirmed the expectations of the breeders by scoring the highest for ride ability (both guest judges scored: 10.0) and became the Reserve Champion of the test. Riccione won several M-level classes and is training at Grand Prix level.
Riccione’s sire Regazzoni was the Champion of the Stallion Performance Test in Münster-Handorf and became Reserve Champion at the 1995 Bundeschampionat. His dam State Premium Mare Arosa received the top score of 10.0 for rideability from the judges and guest judge riders in her Mare Performance Test. With the extraordinary beautiful Trakehner Arogno as sire and the Hanoverian foundation stallion Bolero as dam sire, Arosa carries classical dressage blood.
Riccione’s offspring convince with their type and movement. They are highly sought after auctions in Hanover, Westphalia and Bavaria. He has twelve licensed sons just from his first crop of foals of which two were Reserve Licensing Champions and two reserve 30-day test champions. He also produced several Bundeschampionat finalists and State Premium Mares.
Furthermore, Riccione was highly placed in the NRW Heritability Index for stallions of his year of birth and in the German FN-Breeding Value Index. No other 10-year old stallion passes on his quality more consistently than Riccione.
Dam Sire Weltmeyer was already a legend at 13 years of age! The most admired stallion Weltmeyer was winner of the stallion testing at Adelheidsdorf 1987. He was Champion of the 3 y.o. riding horses at the national championship at Vechta in 1987 and champion of the DLG 1989 in Frankfurt. Also in 1989 he was Stallion Conformation class Champion in Hanover. His outstanding gaits and his rideability make him to be most qualified to produce dressage horses with very good type. Weltmeyer has cadenced movements and beautiful suspension and elevation. He jumps well too! He is schooled up to advanced level and joined the world-famous ‘Celle chestnuts’ for shows all over the world. Weltmeyer is a most impressive stallion. On his sire's side is World Cup by Woermann, on his dam's side is Absatz. Offspring of Woermann fetch very high prices, and Absatz is a producer of leading sires. World Cup 1 was already an outstanding sire: performance test winner, double DLG reserve champion stallion, sire of top stallions and a DLG champion mare.
Weltmeyer has 85 licensed sons, 427 state premium mares, 1235 main stud book mares, 368 auction horses, and the total winning sum of progeny is Euro 2,044,846.00.
